The fashion industry faces a growing waste problem, with only 1% of all textiles produced being recycled. One DIY company based in Kenya and Nigeria has innovated a way to recycle textiles into valuable and useful products.

Africa Collect Textiles is a creative DIY organization that turns textile waste into valuable products in Nairobi, Kenya, and Lagos, Nigeria. The company is not only trying to recycle old textiles as part of a circular fashion but also provide low-income communities with affordable used textiles and footwear.
