US Secretary of State Antony Blinken says there’s reason for optimism in efforts to clinch a cease-fire deal between Israel and Hamas. Blinken told reporters in Tel Aviv that Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu has signed on to a compromise the White House laid out last week. But Hamas did not immediately comment. So, is there really reason for optimism?
