Poland, Germany agree to strengthen partnership

Relations between Berlin and Warsaw have been strained for the past six years, when the right-wing nationalist Law and Justice party was in power in Poland. Its leaders regularly painted Germany as a hostile force. But a change in government in Warsaw has raised hopes for closer cooperation.
