Opel: Survival of German Opel factories on the cost of other European factories?

The future of Opel is set to be discussed at a meeting of European trade and economy ministers in Brussels today. The European Commission has cautioned any government that is planning on bailing out GM European subsidiaries against breaking EU rules on state aid.
