Brandenburg election: Projected results put SPD ahead

Brandenburg's Social Democrats are cautiously celebrating. Speaking to party members, their lead candidate, incumbent state Premier Dietmar Woidke, referred to the AfD's gains and warned that "Brandenburg only has a chance if it remains an open and tolerant state."
